The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. We use the open-source software Matomo on our website to analyse user behaviour. Matomo is operated on our own servers in Germany. No data is passed on to third parties.

IP anonymisation

Your IP address is shortened by 2 bytes before it is stored, so it cannot be linked back to you.

Do Not Track

Legal basis

We use Matomo on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation purposes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Because tracking is cookieless and IP addresses are anonymised, no consent banner is required.

4. Registration and user account

When you register, we collect the following data: email address, user name, password (stored as a non-reversible password hash) and, optionally, your postcode for location searches. This data is used to provide our services.

5. Communication and messages

Messages between users are stored on our servers to enable communication. This data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

6. Image upload and processing

Uploaded images are stored on our servers and processed for display in listings (compression and resizing). Files linked to a deleted listing are deleted under our cleanup process no earlier than 30 days after the listing is deleted. If the listing undergoes administrative review after deletion, this period starts again on the review date.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data and to restrict its processing. If you delete your user account, it is deactivated and is no longer publicly visible. Data may be retained where necessary for administrative review, platform security, the establishment or defence of legal claims, or compliance with legal obligations.

8. Disclaimer

The operator accepts no liability for damage arising from use of this website, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit or other indirect or direct damage. Users use the website at their own risk.
