Mighty vs Mighty+: differences and used buying guide
The original Mighty and Mighty+ are different models. Both provide a display and temperature controls on the device. For everyday use, charging is a key difference: the original uses its own power adapter, while the Mighty+ uses USB-C. Decide whether that convenience is worth the extra cost, then check the actual used device. Mighty Medic and Mighty+ Medic are outside this comparison.
| Criterion | Mighty | Mighty+ |
|---|---|---|
| Version compared | Original Mighty, excluding Plus and Medic | Mighty+, excluding Medic |
| Charging | Dedicated adapter connection; verify the correct supply | USB-C; the supply and cable determine charging performance |
| Temperature controls | Display and buttons on the device | Display and buttons on the device |
| Used battery check | Integrated; ask for actual runtime | Integrated; USB-C does not establish battery condition |
| Before comparing price | Check the included adapter and cooling unit | Check the included cable, adapter and cooling unit |
Buyers who are comfortable using its dedicated adapter and find a fully checked offer at a suitable total price.
On-device temperature control without an app
Dedicated power adapter connection, not USB-C
Integrated batteries: check the actual device’s runtime
Buyers who specifically want USB-C and have included suitable charging accessories in the total cost.
USB-C; charging speed depends on the power supply
Ceramic-coated filling chamber
Display and temperature buttons on the device
Choose the original Mighty if its dedicated adapter suits your routine and the checked offer costs less. Choose the Mighty+ if USB-C is worth the difference to you. If your Mighty already works well, identify the feature you are missing before replacing it. A well-kept Mighty may be a better purchase than a Mighty+ with unresolved battery problems. Compare working devices with one another and add delivery and missing accessories to the asking price.
Confirm the model using photos of its label and charging port. A listing headed Mighty is not automatically a Mighty+. Check Medic versions separately.
Ask about age, use, repairs and recently observed runtime. Request a demonstration of charging, heating and controls. A brief start does not establish battery capacity or remaining service life.
Check the adapter, cable, cooling unit and mouthpiece individually. On a Mighty+, a USB-C socket alone does not establish fast charging; compare the supply and cable with the manufacturer’s instructions.
What is the difference between Mighty and Mighty+?
The original Mighty uses a dedicated power adapter connection. The Mighty+ provides USB-C and a ceramic-coated filling chamber. Both have a display and temperature buttons on the device. The Plus name does not guarantee better remaining runtime on a used unit.
Is a used Mighty+ worth the extra cost?
It can be if USB-C suits your daily use. Compare similar condition and complete accessories. STORZ & BICKEL states approximately 80 percent in 40 minutes using the appropriate Supercharger (15 V / 3 A). This is a manufacturer figure under the specified conditions, not a promise for every USB-C supply or used battery.
