Used vaporizers for beginners

Choose one of three routes before you compare listings. Session devices when you prefer a heated session; loading and cleaning still require following the manual. An on-demand portable when you will manage an 18650. A butane click device when you accept a torch or an induction heater and a learning curve.

Three routes, not one checklist

Session route: the original Mighty has sealed dual cells and DC charging and is no longer the current new model. The Crafty+ has one sealed battery, USB-C on newer units and the Storz & Bickel app. PAX 2, 3, Mini and Plus use conduction; PAX FOUR uses a hybrid heater. Compare the exact generation.

Removable-cell route: only if you will buy, charge and insert an 18650 the right way round. Check which removable cell is included.

Butane route: check the cap click, O-rings and whether a heater is included. There is no battery.

Session devices

The Mighty, Crafty+ and PAX are session vaporizers. You set a temperature and wait. You do not manage a loose 18650 or a torch. The Crafty+ puts fine temperature control in the Storz & Bickel app. Check the PAX generation: FOUR is newer than the Plus.

On-demand with an 18650

The Tinymight 2 is on-demand and session with a removable 18650, not a sealed internal pack. Tinymight recommends high-drain cells such as the Molicel P26A, P28A or P30B. A heat-up of a few seconds is the maker's on-demand claim.

Butane, with a click

The DynaVap M family has no battery. You need a torch or an induction heater, and a little practice. A listing named M is not automatically an M7. Overheating can combust the material.
